The history of Interdoor - Over 50 years experience

The company was established in Ystad in the 1950’s under the Harry Holmdahl AB name. The company specialised in the manufacture of steel, rubber and PVC doors. The products range included fire resistant doors, archive doors, sliding doors, swing doors and x-ray doors.

In the sixties the company Wen-Plast, manufacturing doors in glassfibre reinforced polyester, moved to Ystad.

In the 1960’s, the company incorporated the Wen-Plast range of GRP doors under the heading of the Personer Group of companies and brought the manufacturing of all ranges into one site in Ystad.

During the early eighties, a company called Sonesson, which subsequently became part of the Crawford Door Group, acquired the Personer group. Interdoor AB continues to flourish as a part of the Irish company Dortek Ltd).
